Michelle & Ricky Drummond

 

Michelle and Ricky have been together as a dance

partnership since 1996 and have achieved great

success winning many major dance titles across the

United Kingdom in the early part of their dance

career.

 

As amateurs they became the Open Surrey

Champions, competing as UK 10 Dance Finalists

(Latin American and Modern) and reaching the UK

Closed Ballroom Semi Finals. They were also

ranked within the top 96 in the world. During their

amateur status they starred

in TV shows such as The Big Breakfast, Ant and

Dec's Slap Bang, Recovered on Channel 4 and danced for the Queen Mothers 100^th Birthday party celebrations. They have also starred in many charity events raising money for Cancer Research and the RSPCA.

 

Turning Professional in 2003 they quickly became UK Closed Professional Finalists competing with other top professionals currently seen on Strictly Come Dancing. Michelle and Ricky continued their success, making several professional finals but due to their intense teaching commitments they do not compete internationally.

 

Both Michelle and Ricky are members of the ‘United Kingdom Dance Alliance Association’ (UKA) and are devoted teachers with a true passion for dance.
